• SCEA Cognac et Pineau Pierre Robert

Since 1935, the house Robert product of Pineau des Charentes and Cognac , father to son according to the ancestral traditions. Pierre Robert operates 23.35 hectares, of which 4.75 hectares in red vine (Carbernet and Merlot) and 18.60 hectares in varietals white (Ugni-Blanc 白诗南, Colombard 鸽笼白, Semillon 赛美蓉 ).

The factory of a pineau is nothing but make a pineau excellent is art. It is true that the house Robert is assisted by a privileged soil where the coteaux to soft slopes married their sunshine to the softness of the climate of the Saintonge.

Pineau des Charentes is an alcoholic beverage such as "fortified wine appellation d'origine contrôlée" (VLAOC) produced in the Charente Maritime and obtained by mixing the wort (that is to say grape juice) and eau-de-vie brandy.

The Pineau are kept in chai for 3 years before their placing in bottles, the 18 months the aging is carried out in oak casks of Limousin. Grape juice non employees for the Pineau are intended for the elaboration of our Cognac. There are various ranges of Cognac according to the age :

    • Cognac 3 stars : 3 years of age
    • Cognac V. S. O. P : 7 to 8 years of age
    • Napoleon Cognac: 10 12 years of age
    • Cognac X. O : 15 20 years of age

Cognac is obtained by double distillation of the wort and aging in oak barrels. The grapes are pressed immediately after harvest, the wine is put to ferment. After 5-7 days, you get a low alcohol wine (about 8 ° to 11 °) and acid disorder, unpleasant to drink in the state (wine boiler). That's double distillation and aging in oak barrels which will transform it into brandy.

  • Domaine du Vissoux - Beaujolais

Domaine du Vissoux is a family-run wine estate. The estate is in the Pierres Dorées golden stone area, in southern Beaujolais.

Combining tradition and modernity, Martine and Pierre-Marie Chermette are fully committed to bringing you really high quality, authentic terroir wines. white, rosé and red Beaujolais, Brouilly, Fleurie, Moulin à Vent, Crémant de Bourgogne and crème de cassis made using our own blackcurrants.

Martine and Pierre-Marie Chermette have always been inclined towards making wine that is as natural as possible and have a single goal: that their work and produce be of the highest quality.

Both in tending the vines and in vinification, Pierre-Marie Chermette intervenes as little as possible. This respect means that the terroir is able to express itself authentically in each of his wines.

Pierre-Marie is convinced that integrated agriculture, to give it its official name, is the style best suited to the evolution in the climate in our region today – victim of excesses – and the fragility of the Gamay grape variety.

  • DOMAINE CORDIER

Christophe Cordier is currently make things move on the mâconnais. It develops wines of great class which place themselves at the level of some great white wines of the Côte de Beaune, it is regularly quoted in the press reviews specialized as reference in the Mâconnais.
But it is primarily the efforts and rigorous work carried out to the vine that promote a harvest of healthy grapes and perfectly ripe : a real guarantee of the quality.
The wine wearing a beautiful dress, clear, golden yellow, with glints luminous. The nose the wine exudes perfumes of white flowers, butter, hawthorn, involved in notes of apple, pear, peach, yellow plums, quince and almond, on a woody base very pleasant.
The mouth seduced immediately by its and roundness fatty intense in attack, then comes the balance provided by a peak of minerality, which plays on the elegance and finesse of the substance. The aromatic expression is still dominated by the flavors of white flowers and white fruits, and ends on a final mineral and long.
A wine successful, which attests to the renewal qualitative of the mâconnais and of the seriousness of this field as to the production of great white wines of Burgundy.

    Very beautiful wine.
